Chrysanthe Staikopoulou completed her postgraduate diploma in Architecture at UCL, before studying for an MA in Goldsmithing Silversmithing Metalwork & Jewellery from the Royal College of Art where she graduated in 2006.
Her work dwells in architecture. It occupies a specific site and embraces niches found in buildings, architectonic elements, furniture and objects. It is at the same time ornament and jewellery, whose materiality, preciousness and typology is informed by the site it inhabits.
Her work is inspired by architecture, the domestic environment, the inherent qualities of each material, ways of making and engineering.
